Welcome to this special edition of OnSTREAM, the newsletter from DNASTREAM, which has been produced especially for our associate community.

We hope that you have all enjoyed a busy and successful 2008.  For DNASTREAM, 2008 has seen our most successful year to date as we continue to grow, and establish our reputation in new industry sectors as well as outside the UK.

DNASTREAM and our Associates – A Winning Team

At DNASTREAM we believe in working with only the best in the industry.  Highly experienced and knowledgeable Associate Consultants; those recognised by their peers as being among the elite.

Our aim is always to deliver a customer focused, quality service to help our customers get the most from their investment in SAP solutions.  We strongly believe that a small number of experienced, professional SAP consultants can make a big difference to a customer project and we have proved that at a number of customers over the last two years.

Our Directors are all former senior managers at SAP (UK) with many years of delivery experience and we only employ consultants who are experienced and known to us as being able to do an excellent job.  A key part of our business model is maintaining a network of high quality Associate Consultants who can help us deliver to our customers.  We also believe that personal recommendation is a very powerful means of identifying and selecting new members of our team.

We are delighted to be working with you as part of the DNASTREAM team, and we are proud to be part of such an elite group.

As a rapidly growing company, we are continually looking to expand our team, both internally and through our associate network.  We regularly have opportunities for programme and project managers, solution and technical architects, experienced solution consultants and technical specialists.  As you will read later, we offer a reward for any referrals that our associates make to us and we will be continuing to expand our network of trusted associates to support growing demand for our services.

DNASTREAM in 2008 and Looking Forward to 2009

2008 has been our most successful year as we continue to grow with a larger customer base, increased revenues and of course an ever expanding team of high quality Associate Consultants.

During the year we have worked with major companies across a number of sectors including Utilities, Public Sector, Insurance, Energy and Banking.  We have been building our reputation as a high quality professional organisation so that many companies are now approaching us looking for experienced SAP contract staff to support their ongoing initiatives.  Although most of our work is still based in the UK we are undertaking projects in Europe and even had enquiries from America, Africa and the Far East.  The recent signing of a framework agreement with SAP Nordics has further enhanced our position as a respected services partner, and enabled us to continue expansion into the European market.

Despite the current economic downturn we are optimistic about the DNASTREAM outlook for 2009, as we continue to grow and satisfied customers come back to us for further work as well as referring us into other organisations.  Our outlook is positive and of course we will need to maintain and grow our high quality, experienced team to match this growing demand for our services.

We are all looking forward to another successful year!

Moving Into New Sectors – Public Services

DNASTREAM’s heartland is Energy & Utilities and Financial Services and we continue to have great success in these sectors thanks to our excellent pedigree and proven track record.  During 2008 however we have succeeded in establishing ourselves in the Public Services sector by securing a major ongoing engagement with one of the UK’s largest Public Services organisations, where we are supporting the customer with a major human resources transformation programme.   Our involvement in this programme, which will ultimately result in probably the largest ever SAP HR/Payroll solution in terms of employee numbers, represents a key milestone in the growth of DNASTREAM.

We have further strengthened our Public Services presence by securing a project assurance engagement, in conjunction with one of our key partners, at another major public organisation to support the implementation of SAP HR/Payroll and Finance.  In addition, we are positioned to secure similar assurance engagements with other customers in the future.

In the current uncertain climate, we are delighted to be able to demonstrate that we can continue to grow our business into previously untapped sectors.  We believe that our ethos of delivering high value through a small, select team of experts working for the benefit of the customer is really hitting the right note, and we are looking forward to continuing our expansion in this exciting new sector throughout 2009.

Update Your Details and Win in our Prize Draw

Having just completed our latest successful year, we are looking to continue to develop our business by expanding our customer base.  Like many growing companies we have found that most of our business comes from personal contacts - people we already know, or onward referrals from these contacts.

We are continually looking to expand and manage our customer contacts to help us generate further business to benefit us all.  As one of DNASTREAM’s key associates we would like to ask for your help in doing this by introducing us into any SAP customer contacts or connections you have from your previous roles.    

Of course, we also need to maintain and develop our high quality network of experienced associates, people like yourselves, so that we can continue to successfully deliver SAP projects to our increasing customer base.  So we would also ask that you let us know of anyone you have previously worked with, or know of, who you would recommend as a high quality, experienced SAP consultant.

All we ask is that you give us the initial introduction to the customer or consultant and we will take it from there.

Our Referral Reward Scheme will pay you up to £1,000 for a successful referral.

So get cracking - we look forward to receiving your referrals which you can register on our website (www.dnastream.com) or email to us at info@dnastream.com.   To register a referral please provide us with the following information:

• Your name, email address and contact telephone number
• The name and contact details of the person you are referring to us
• For a customer referral, brief details of the contact’s role
• For an associate referral, brief details of their skill set

To ensure that we have your most up to date details so that we can easily contact you to discuss opportunities, we are entering all associates who respond to us with their updated details into a prize draw to win a fabulous mystery prize!

All you have to do is email us at info@dnastream.com with the following:

• Your name
• Your current email address(es)
• Your contact telephone number(s)
• Details of when you would next be available for work
• Details of your preferred work locations
• Your typical daily rate

We will be making the draw at the end of January, so please get your updates in quickly to ensure you are included in the draw.

The New DNASTREAM Group on LinkedIn

For those of you who use the business networking website LinkedIn, we are delighted to tell you that we have just set up a DNASTREAM group.

This group will be closely managed and restricted solely to DNASTREAM employees and Associate Consultants.  Our aim is to develop this group so that we can use it for the mutual benefit of all our members by sharing information about jobs, customers, SAP products, methodologies, approaches etc, etc.  We invite you to join the group and we will further develop it over the next few months, as the membership increases.
