Last week, the DNASTREAM team attended the annual IFS User Group conference ENIGMA 2026, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes. It’s hosted as a yearly opportunity to connect with customers, partners, and with the IFS team, and we came away with plenty of insights to share.

Highlights of the Experience
ENIGMA is this year’s IFS User Group event, and it lived up to its reputation. With over 50 presentations and workshops on offer, there was no shortage of content to take in. The event brought together more than 20 IFS Partners, +30 members of the senior IFS team, and a wide spread of IFS
customers from a variety of industries.
The event was organised seamlessly across the three days with interactive aspects for all event attendees. From the well-structured agenda to the seamless logistics, the User Group team delivered an event that made it easy to focus on what matters most - learning, sharing and connecting.
Meeting the Attendees
One of the most valuable aspects of the ENIGMA event was the opportunity to hear directly from IFS customers on what’s working for them. Several customer-led sessions offered real insights into their experiences with IFS Cloud and Planning & Scheduling Optimisation (PSO) - the good, the bad, and everything in between.
Conversations like these are useful for us as a partner, as it enables us to bring the best service for each scenario. Understanding the real-world challenges and successes that organisations face helps us refine our approach and deliver better outcomes for our own clients across Defence, Manufacturing, Service Industries, and Energy & Utilities.

It was also interesting to catch up with some familiar faces and meet new contacts. Events like ENIGMA are all about building relationships and sharing experiences, and there was plenty of opportunity for exactly that.
A Growing Partner Ecosystem
This year's event saw an increase in partner attendance, with many new additions to the exhibition space. What stood out was the variety of complementary solutions on offer, from productivity tools to innovative add-ons designed to enhance the IFS experience.
It's great to see the ecosystem growing and diversifying. For customers, this means more choice and more opportunities to extend the value of their IFS investments.
Sovereign Hosting

One theme that generated significant conversation throughout the event was sovereign hosting. With growing concerns around data security, geopolitics, and regulatory compliance, particularly among our Defence customers, this topic resonated strongly.
The conversations we had reinforced that organisations are increasingly looking for hosting solutions that allow them to "sleep at night," knowing their data is secure and managed within trusted boundaries. It's a conversation we expect to continue well beyond ENIGMA, and one that's particularly relevant for organisations operating in sensitive sectors.
Networking and Entertainment
Of course, ENIGMA isn't just about the day sessions. The final evening was a highlight in itself, with brilliant entertainment that had everyone on their feet. The quiz was fiercely competitive and the DJ did a fantastic job of keeping the energy high well into the night. The interactive games were a great touch too, watching colleagues and customers take on challenges and compete against each other added to the fun atmosphere.
The venue itself was ideal, with most attendees staying on-site at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Stadium MK. Having everyone under one roof made networking effortless and added to the sense of community throughout the event.
Looking Ahead
ENIGMA 2026 was a brilliant event, and we're grateful to the IFS User Group for putting together such a well-organised and engaging conference. It was fantastic to connect with customers, catch up with fellow partners, and hear firsthand about the trends and challenges shaping the IFS community.
We came away energised and full of ideas and we're already looking forward to next year.
