At DNASTREAM, our apprentices are an integral part of our team, contributing fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a passion for growth across key areas such as consultancy, business operations, and marketing. We value the opportunity to support their development and take pride in sharing their progress each year. This year, we've reconnected with our apprentices to learn more about their journey, what they’ve achieved, the skills they’ve honed, and memorable experiences in their roles. Their reflections provide an authentic glimpse into the rewarding path of an apprenticeship and highlight the importance of cultivating skills from our pool of experts.
How Has the Apprenticeship Gone So Far?
Our Digital Business Analyst apprentices, Thomas, Zaeed, and Ben have successfully completed their studies all achieving a First-Class Honours Degree, and are now eagerly awaiting graduation on 2nd of December. This achievement represents years of hard work and dedication, and we’re delighted to see them take this important step as they progress toward the next stage of their careers.

Jem, our Digital Marketing apprentice, has entered his final year at university. He notes that the workload has intensified but embraces the challenge and is looking forward to starting his dissertation and End Point Assessment. He’s determined to make the most of this year, and we can’t wait to see how he continues to grow both academically and professionally within DNASTREAM.
Kayleigh, our Project Management apprentice, is making a strong comeback after recently returning from maternity leave. She is preparing to resume her studies in January for semester two and is enthusiastic about getting back into her work and study routine. We’re excited to support her as she continues her journey with us.
Highlights From Their Work at DNASTREAM
The Digital Business Analyst apprentices have had a busy 2025 with Ben being involved “in two PSO Go-Lives, where I have undertaken a PMO / Technical Consultant role, supporting Project Managers with status reporting, RAID and plan management, alongside functional expertise”. Thomas shares a similar experience saying he has been involved in some “large scale IFS Cloud implementation projects, starting in a PMO role before transitioning into a position focused on managing and maintaining the IFS Scope Tool to ensure accurate and up-to-date project information”.
Zaeed has also contributed to various exciting projects, including the support of the successful implementation and go-live of the IFS Ultimo system at a significant port company, and then expanding his knowledge through a PSO implementation project at a Fire and Security company.

Across 2025, Jem has been working on promoting various internal and external events for DNASTREAM. He says, “it’s been exciting being able to see how events are run and the creativity needed to make DNASTREAM stand out amongst our peers, both on virtual events like our webinars and the IFS run events in person”.
Kayleigh had previously completed semester one of her university course, passing the Resource Management module, and is picking back up where she left off “continuing to develop my project management skills and learn about new tools and techniques to bring back into DNASTREAM’s existing and future projects.”
What Is Next for Our Apprentices?
All three of our Digital Business Analyst apprentices have stayed on at DNASTREAM with exciting new roles tailored to the unique skills they have honed across their apprenticeships.
Thomas has taken on a new challenge as he starts a new role as a Business Development Consultant where he will continue to learn, grow, and contribute to a whole new area of the business.
Zaeed has taken a new role as a Service Support Consultant, where he hopes to learn much more about how we can improve our customer service and add greater value for our clients.
Ben has secured a promotion to a Consultant - Project Management, a testament to his hard work and the support provided by DNASTREAM.
Our Digital Marketing apprentice Jem will be going into his second semester in January and will be picking the topic for his dissertation while taking on more responsibility within the marketing department as it evolves and grows.
